- Applies to
- Billet 1.0
- Updated
Before you start
- macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later, on an Apple silicon or Intel Mac. One package covers both.
- The package. Download Billet for Mac: it is always the current version, and saves as
Billet-<version>-macos.pkg. Your IT team may give you a copy of its own instead. - Your organization's portal address, for example
https://portal.example.com.
Install
- Open
Billet-<version>-macos.pkg. - Follow the installer. macOS asks for an administrator password to install into Applications.
- Open Billet from Applications or Launchpad.
The package is signed by its developer and notarized by Apple, so macOS opens it without a warning about an unidentified developer. If you see one, the file did not come from your organization's copy of the release: ask your IT team before going further.
